This wonderful home in Mt Claremont backed onto a park full of native plants. The brief was to create a modern twist on the Australian native garden and also incorporate some bamboo for screening.

We had great pleasure in creating a splash back for the kitchen in the way of an external mounted planter box.

A fully automated reticulation system was installed with drip line and MP rotators used for lower water consumption and efficient watering.

Have a look for yourself in the images below, at the way we were able to fulfil the brief and create this wonderful garden.

Perched on the cliffs above the swan river this architectural masterpiece draws attention.

A mixture of exotic and native plants accent the house in multiple lighting areas including heavy shade. Mature tree transplants were used to lend a sense of age and height to this new build. Installing a small Palmetto Buffalo lawn in the space beside the pool provides somewhere to throw a towel or picnic rug to enjoy the view.

With strong raw materials such as concrete and timber, the planting plan was designed in order to soften and complement such a magnificent build.

A smart home capable reticulation system was installed to operate sub surface watering options, allowing for water to be applied directly to the root systems for ideal growing conditions.

Such a pleasure to be a part of this incredible project.

An incredible home built in Floreat , requires a landscape to match the craftsmanship of the structure.

A magnificent gum tree towers over the property, allowing for a wonderful garden to develop underneath in the doppled shade. A blend of native and exotic plants come together in waves offering different textures, colours and heights throughout.

Large grass areas of Palmetto buffalo give the family space to play and entertain whilst being held in place with corten steel edging for easy maintenance and care.

A true wonder to build such a large and wonderful landscape teeming with vibrancy and future growth!

What to do when there is no space for a garden bed? Put it on the wall of course.

These two units nestled in the heart of Mount Lawley were in need of a classy yet simple landscape designed around the modern take on New York style apartments.

From the front, you are greeted with Sir Walter Buffalo turf, Steel edging and Bluestone steppers leading to the services along the side of the units.

In the rear courtyards, the garage walls were used to the full extent with large living walls being installed. 72 plants grace each wall, bathing in the morning sun allowing for a tropical and lush plant selection.

Automatic reticulation systems were installed in the lawn and living wall areas to provide care free watering to the areas required.

When given a small space, its about making the most of it and these two units now ooze elegance!

We were contacted to quote on this project and come up with a free flowing garden lovers space. After careful planning and designing we came up with this wonderful space fit for , entertaining , relaxation and a chill out spot for the family pet Staffie.

Bluestone steppers lead from the garage to the front door and continue into the travertine paved outdoor dining area. A Gleditsia Shademaster offers shading from the summer sun and will grow into an incredible canopy to enjoy the bbq lifestyle out of the harsh heat.

Using Viburnum as a hedge allows the area to gain privacy without losing the feel of nature. In time, these wonderful plants will grow to 2 metres and offer screening, colour and vibrancy to the space. We couldn’t be happier with this landscape and look forward to returning soon to see the new growth.

Nothing quite beats creating a landscape designed to complement an Art Deco house in the heart of Floreat.

With no area to call a “backyard”, the front of the house was where the dream had to come to life. An area to play cricket, a space to entertain and all in all, somewhere that embraced the feeling of calm.

The site was cleared and construction began with the hardscapes. Organic bluestone steppers were set in place to give a meandering feel as the entry from the road encouraged exploration. Steel edging was then put in place to give the clean and modern isolation between garden and lawn.

A mixture of native and exotic planting gave a real sense of freshness to a building with already so much character. Maintaining the large existing trees, non fruiting olive trees were selected to bring a great colour and shape to the area. Pittosporum ‘Miss Muffet” and Leucophyta brownii “Silver Nugget” coupled to bring the garden bed a structure and colour palette like no other.

A fully automated reticulation system was installed, waterwise products such as drip line and MP rotator lawn sprinklers were used as they provide direct watering at a lower water usage.

Being invited onto a project like this to provide the all essential green touch, what a treat.

The brief was simple, provide somewhere for the kids to grow and enjoy over the many years to come. Low maintenance was key but high end finishes a priority.

A white tiled pool built by Select Pools graciously dominated the space with crisp clean lines and impeccable workmanship. Paving around the pool allowed for extended outdoor living and sun loungers.

Semi mature Magnolia “Little Gems” gave height and structure to the white fence backdrop. Backed by Viburnum “Dense Fence” which in years will grow to a lush evergreen modern marvel of a hedge, enclosing the space to feel like you could be anywhere in the world. Underplanting consisted of Pittosporrum “Miss muffet” and Dichondra “Silver Falls”, these over time will spill over the paved edge and soften the landscape with contrasting colours of deep green and chalky silver. Two accent Tolley “Upright olives” were placed in feature positions behind the patio and BBQ to anchor the colour range and height of this space.

From start to finish this project was a winner. The brief was to create a useable space with multi dimensional gardens.

The site was fully excavated, removing 8 cubic metres of waste soil and weeds. Limestone blocks were installed to create a solid yet decorative barrier between garden and lawn. Stainless steel trellis created a future home for the star jasmine to grow and cover the colour bond fence in coming years.

The entertaining hub of the project was the poured limestone and living wall area. Creating a living wall enhanced the space beyond belief and in time the plants will all envelop the space further to become a magnificent feature of the garden.

A fully automated reticulation system was put in place, using the best waterwise products on the market to reduce water consumption and the cost of upkeep.

Finally the wonderful soft leaf Sir Walter Buffalo was installed giving a soft and forever green area for all to enjoy.
